Default Grandstream 2010 work with TalkSwitch 848vs?

Does anyone have a TalkSwitch system?
We bought TalkSwitch phones with our system and now found out that the GS2020 or GS2000 should work with the TalkSwitch system.

I was just wondering if anyone had used these phones with this system and if they were happy. I am going to talk with TalkSwitch later this week to find out what they know.

Thanks.

Well, if you mean the GXP-2000 and GXP-2020, then the GXP-2010 should work fine as well. I wouldn't see there being a problem with any SIP based phone if the GXP-2000/2020 work. I have a GXP-2010 sitting on my desk right now for testing. Anything I might be able to answer for you?

Default Does it work with your TalkSwitch System?

Do all the hard programmed buttons (hold, DND, Mute etc..etc..) work with your TalkSwitch system?

I know that TalkSwitch says the phone has to have a certain firmware and rev at least for the 2000 and 2020.

Thanks for any more info.

Default Grandstream Phones & TalkSwitch

tocursey,

I just asked Talkswitch and they told me that all features on the GXP2000 & GXP2020 work fine with Talkswitch. However by doing this it forces them to being 1 Line phones.

Also apparently all the Aastra phones work great with TalkSwitch.

I also am waiting on a response from Grandstream on this, I'll let you know what they say when I hear something.

Default Interesting...

Yes the TalkSwitch phones we purchased are in astra cases. They look identical to the astra phones I found online, but they were more expensive (TalkSwitch brand)

As for the 1 Line comment. Are you meaning that the 2000 and 2020 which I think are at least 4 line phones, no longer can show 4 line apperances while working with the TalkSwitch system?

The main thing I am wanting to figure out is how we can get some nicer phones that have line appreances and still have all the features of the TalkSwitch PBX.

We are new to IP and PBX systems, wo when we purchased the TalkSwitch system, we bought the TalkSwitch phones. We wen't with the most economical version the 9112i phones, we have one of the 9133i phones as well. In looking at the Grandstream phones, they look much more feature rich and much more economical. We are still under our 30 day money back guarentee for the TalkSwitch equipment. I was hoping to figure out another best bet for phones so that I might return some or all of the ones we bought and tie the new ones in with the TalkSwitch 848vs system.

Thanks again for all your comments and information.

Default IP Phones and TalkSwitch

"As for the 1 Line comment. Are you meaning that the 2000 and 2020 which I think are at least 4 line phones, no longer can show 4 line appearances while working with the TalkSwitch system?"

- Yes, from my understanding they will no longer show the extra 3 line appearances. From what the TalkSwitch representative told me you would want an Aastra version of there phones up at a front desk to handle this.

Hopefully in the future they will evolve their supported product line so its not so limited.
