We use connect.voicepulse.com for our IAX2 trunks. It's only $11/Mo for a telephone number or no monthly fee for outbound dialing only. We mainly use them for rollover lines. If a customer has 2 copper lines and would like to add 4 additional inbound lines for only $11 a month and has high speed internet, that's what we use. We don't set them up in outbound routing so they won't have to worry about the bill going up. That way, their customers don't ever get a busy signal. We have had excellent voice quality on 6Mb/768Kb DSL lines that don't have a lot of internet traffic. But, if people are streaming music and video, it's not a good solution.

Voxitas (formerly NetLogic) does SIP trunking and T1 delivery nationwide. There are POPs (points of presence) with regionalized switches through the US to ensure minimal latency and ensure the best voice quality. Voxitas can either deliver SIP trunking via the public internet or over a QOS (voice prioritized) T1 with an SLA (service level agreement). There are flat rate trunks that start at $18, with free local calling, DID, e911 and directory listing all included; and also measured trunks that start at $3. Voxitas only sells through a VAR/agent channel - and pays a monthly residual to the agents. Please let me know if anyone would like to learn more about our agent/VAR program. I can be reached at gramsaroop@voxitas.com Thanks.

I use the following VSP's with good results:
CallCentric InPhonex Voip.ms Les.net I use them all either on my configurable softphones (3CX VoIP Client, and WengoPhone) or with my PAP2T-NA. InPhonex is the only above provider "currently" providing e911 service to Canadians. VoIP.ms is in the process of implementing... but I'm still waiting for the e911 activation... after 5 weeks.... hopefully soon it will be done... CallCentric does not have plans to offer e911 to Canada, at this time. Les.net says they are working on a e911 implementation plan. I find that it is hard to find good low-cost VoIP in Canada that includes e911... |
